Jimmy Schauerte
Jimmy is the Lead Pastor of Roots Church and is the Director of Calvary Chapel Bible College New York City. He is a CCBC graduate that spent seven years on the foreign mission field Directing a Calvary Chapel Affiliate campus in Spain. During his years spent in Europe he had the opportunity to speak at churches and conferences all over the globe. Recently Jimmy graduated with his Masters Degree from Western Seminary. Before planting in New York City he also helped plant a church in Chicago, IL. His wife's name is Liz and they have two babies, Haven and Malachi.
Claude Stauffer
The Lord called Pastor Claude into ministry in 1980. He is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div. 1983-86). He pastored from 1986 to 1993 in the Church of the Nazarene where he also taught Bible College extension classes. In 1993 he joined the Calvary Chapel fellowship and planted Calvary Chapel of Hope where he remains the Senior Pastor.
He has written six books and maintains the Shepherd of Hope blog. He can be heard on the Living Hope radio program on WGSS 89.3 FM. Find out more at www.calvarychapelofhope.org. He is married to his wife Dee and they have been blessed with three grown children and four grandchildren.
Jacob Ramsey
Jacob is a graduate of Calvary Chapel Bible College. He is the Dean of Men at CCBC NYC. Jacob has lived in New York City since 2017 and is the Assistant Pastor and an Elder At Roots Church. He has a passion for shepherding the flock of God, discipleship, and the teaching of God's word. He and his beautiful wife Danielle live in walking distance to the campus and are heavily involved in the day to day at CCBC.
Joey Rozek
Joey has served as a youth pastor, assistant pastor, evangelist, and lead pastor. He has served the Lord from the west coast at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa; to the east coast at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge; and then overseas in the UK where he became the founding pastor of Calvary Cambridge where he served for over 10 years. Joey and his family returned to the US to do a fresh work in New Jersey, where he planted and pastors Living Springs Fellowship. He is married to his lovely wife Tiffany and together they have three children: Madelyn, Josiah, and Jordan.

Danielle Ramsey
Danielle has her Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies from Cairn University. She has been serving at the Bible College here since it's inception. She moved to Queens after getting married in 2018. Danielle has always had a deep desire to disciple young women and serves here at CCBC as Dean of Women and Administrator. She teaches Women's Discipleship and is passionate about seeing young women rooted and grounded in Jesus. Danielle serves as a Deacon at Roots Church.
Daisy Avalos
Born in Ecuador and moved to NYC at the age of five. Surrendered her life to the Lord in 2004 and has a heart to serve others and the church in any capacity. Daisy oversees the finances for Roots Church and CCBC NYC. She is a Deacon at Roots Church and serves in various different ministries.
